{{ Canyonlands NP }} Highlights
- Cave Spring Trail
- Roadside Ruins Trail

{{ This was one National Park I hadn’t researched very much. It is so massive, it is actually divided into 4 sections. We visited the Needles section today. We knew we wouldn’t have a lot of time since we were also traveling one of the last legs of our trip and heading to Colorado. What I didn’t know was that there were only a couple of “short and easy/moderate hikes…most were 5-7 miles plus (and most were way more than that). So, we did two trails before we picnicked and headed on toward Colorado. }}

- Newspaper Rock

{{ Mark made sure to stop at Newspaper Rock just for me. I don’t know why petroglyphs are so intriguing to me, but I LOVE finding/seeing them. And this one was massive! }}
- 6th Jr. Ranger badge

{{ We liked Canyonland because the trails were primitive. They used cairns (stacked rocks) to keep you going the right way…follow the cairns! And because it was much more primitive, there were soooo many lizards to find, too! }}
