The new year promises fresh starts and big dreams, but when you live with an unpredictable body, hope feels more complicated. I want to plan, to believe, to reach forward—yet I also carry the weight of what my diagnosis has already changed. This year, I’m learning that I don’t have to choose between dreaming and being realistic. I can hold hope with open hands, and embrace reality with grace.
